Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last decade, you know his name, you know his face, and you know his deal.

He’s Dana White, who at just 54 years old boasts an estimated net worth of about $500 billion. The current president and CEO of the UFC, the frontrunning entertainment company specializing in mixed martial arts, White is a modern-day Vince McMahon, as synonymous with the UFC brand as the fighters themselves.

In 2001, when his friends and business associates Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta bought UFC for merely $2 million, White became its president. He has largely been credited with growing the brand exponentially— and today the UFC is worth more than $12 billion.

Well-known for his “IDGAF” mentality and close associations with some of the world’s top movers and shakers, including Donald Trump, White is a global business mogul in his own right. But sometimes, thanks to his in-your-face attitude and “controversial” decisions, he isn’t given the respect I think he deserves — at the very least for the path he’s paved as a businessman and entrepreneur.
